You need a business loan. You search "e mudra loan sbi". SBI is India's largest bank. Mudra is government scheme.

He applied again through a different branch with correct category. Approved in 10 days.

The difference? Knowing the process. Here's what he learned.

1. What Is E Mudra Loan SBI? (Simple Explanation)

Mudra loan under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY). SBI is the implementing bank.

3 categories:

Shishu – up to ₹50,000 (no CIBIL check, no collateral)

Kishor – ₹50,001 to ₹5 lakh (CIBIL 650+, no collateral)

Tarun – ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh (CIBIL 700+, no collateral for up to ₹10L)

Interest rate: 8.40% to 9.15% (depending on category and CIBIL)

Processing fee: Zero (SBI doesn't charge processing fee for Mudra loans)

Repayment tenure: 3 to 5 years

2. The 5 Rejection Reasons for E Mudra Loan SBI (Avoid These)

1. Wrong category selection Shishu for turnover < ₹2L/year. Kishor for ₹2L-10L. Tarun for ₹10L+. Choose Tarun with ₹5L turnover = reject.

2. No business proof You need proof of business. GST registration (best). Shop license (good). Affidavit on stamp paper (minimum). No proof = reject.

3. Bank statement doesn't show business income SBI checks last 6 months statement. If deposits don't match your application, reject. What you should do: For 3 months before applying, deposit all business cash into bank.

4. Low CIBIL for Kishor/Tarun Shishu: no CIBIL check. Kishor: 650+ needed. Tarun: 700+ needed. Below these = reject or higher interest.

5. Incomplete application Wrong PAN number. Name mismatch. Missing signature. Small mistakes = big rejection.
