Here is the complete truth. Read before you apply.

My uncle is a farmer in Punjab. He needed ₹2 lakh for new seeds and fertilizer before the sowing season. He applied for Kisan Card.

Approved in 7 days. ₹2 lakh in his bank account. Zero interest for 6 months. He bought the seeds. His crop gave good yield.

He repaid on time. Now his credit limit increased to ₹3 lakh.

This is not a dream. This is Kisan Card.

What Is Kisan Card? (Simple Explanation)

Kisan Card (also called Kisan Credit Card – KCC) is a government scheme for farmers.

Loan amount:

Up to ₹3 lakh (more for large farmers, but ₹3L is common limit)

Interest rate:

0% for first 6 months (government subsidy)

After that, 8-10% (still cheaper than private loan)

No collateral needed for loans up to ₹3 lakh (for small and marginal farmers)

Repayment tenure: 1 to 5 years (flexible)

Who can apply: Any farmer who owns land (even 1 acre). Or tenant farmer with land lease agreement.

Benefits of Kisan Card (Why Every Farmer Should Apply)

Benefit 1: Zero interest for 6 months

Borrow ₹1 lakh. Repay after harvest. Pay exactly ₹1 lakh. No extra.

Benefit 2: Flexible repayment

You can repay after selling crops. No pressure of monthly EMI.

Benefit 3: No collateral

You don't need to pledge land and gold for loans up to ₹3 lakh.

Benefit 4: Revolving credit

You repay. Limit gets restored. Borrow again for next season.

Benefit 5: Insurance cover
