3. "Bollywood Couple's Divorce" — Page 1. Multiple columns. Because gossip sells.
4. "Stock Market at All-Time High" — Page 1. Green arrows. Because good news keeps you buying the paper.
5. "Crime That Shocks the City" — Page 1. Graphic details. Because fear sells.
1. "Farmer Suicide in Maharashtra — 12th This Month" — Page 15. Three lines. No photo. Because it happens every day. 2. "Government School Has No Toilets for Girls" — Page 15. Two lines. Bottom corner. Because it's not "breaking." 3. "Child Labour Found in Factory in Your City" — Page 15. One paragraph. Because you don't want to know. 4. "Air Pollution Killed 10,000 This Year" — Page 15. Small box. Because no one wants to read about slow death. 5. "Man Saves 5 Children from Drowning" — Page 15. Four lines. No photo. Because good news doesn't sell. Page 1 tells you what the editor wants you to think. Page 15 tells you what's really happening. The farmer who died. The school with no toilet. The child in a factory. The pollution in your lungs. The hero who saved lives. You pay for the newspaper. You read Page 1. You miss Page 15. Don't. Tomorrow, when you read the newspaper, do this: Read Page 1. Then flip to Page 15. Read that too. Compare. Contrast. Question. Then decide what's really news.
